E-Class (W213/C238/A238) [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213 Facelift

The Mercedes-Benz W213 is the fifth generation of the E-Class range. It succeeded the W212 E-Class models. The coupe/convertible models (C238/A238) share the same platform as the sedan/wagon, in contrast to the previous generation. Production: February 2016–2023. Model years: 2017–2023.
Does anyone know if the tailights have individual OLED panels that do a start up/turn signal sequence?

This must be one of the worst Mopf/FL ever by Mercedes-Benz.
- the rear looks cheap and ugly imo. Where’s the stardust gone, which I prefer over this rather bland looking rearlights;
- Pre-FL your W213 looked like a S Klasse, now it looks like an A Klasse sedan;
- rear looks alienated from the Original design; as if it was taken from another car and slapped onto the W213;
- the exclusive line with it’s classic grill has been uglified (sorry, have no other word for it). That tiny chromeline of a grill reminds me of the last FL of the W124. I’m sure @klier already mentioned that gastly hood shutline?

I don't really like it, I feel that the rear of Pre FL is much more elegant and coherent. The rear only looks okay with AMG 53 kit. The front is AMG GT4 wanna be.

Regarding the interior, I love the new AMG steering, MBUX is also nice addition (now my E400 infotainment looks old :notworthy:), I hate that they removed the analog clock and the rotatory console controller.

I remember that I fell in love with the W213 once press photos were released, and it looked even better in flesh. I don't like what I see so far from the FL, but I want my final judgment to be after seeing it in real life.

I hope this is not true, the E63s needs a power boost, I have seen countless videos of M5s kicking the AMG ass. Moreover, M5 has competition version, while AMG has 63 and 63s models which is pointless.

How is MB having a 63 and a 63 S any different to BMW having the M5 and M5 Competition? They're both just a tactic to eek out a little bit more revenue from the buyer by making them think they want the "better" model for a bit more more money.

I'm not emphasizing about how good is the competition variant, in fact I believe its a marketing bluf by BMW to offer competition pack for all the new M cars even from day 1 of lunch.

What I meant, the only real contender to the M5/RS6 is the 63s, the 63 is really pointless and has no reason to exist. In fact, they should offer more powerful variant to keep up with the competition.

I would be suprised if E63/E63 S gets a power bump and becomes closer to GT63 S, not good for them. Standard E63 almost doesn't exist because MB wants you to go for more expensive version.
Also, even if FL gets more hp, they will be mild-hybrid, so plus 80kg just for that.

I don't think I've ever seen a test of the non S E63 against the M5. I would like to see the differences.

So... Where's the E63? Will it get more power for the 2021 model year?

How could they do this? What a weak grille! And they drop the traditional badge from the top of the grille.
Need to see other pics and in real, but sorry to say we have to worry about the new S class face, too.

I think it looks very good in the video...ebat does he always sound sarcastic and hateful when doing Mercedes videos...

This FL has me feeling divided. In one way I like it, especially the front grills and bumper intake designs of the Avantgarde and AMG models look great and the headlights look ok, a little like those of the AMG GT 4dr. The rear lights are disappointing as they resemble too many other cars such as Kia and Lexus and its here where I think the pre FL model beats the FL hands down as its rear design was unique in this class.

The interior upgrades are classy. I like the new steering wheels especially the AMG one as its thin twin spoke design is very unique. MBUX finally brings the infotainment system up to date with other Mercedes models.

Good to see the E200 and E300 have much needed power boosts with mild hybrid tech added.

@lOnodias Why WTF?
What I say reflects my appreciation of similarity between both things easily recognizable by anyone
