The amg line and AMG e53 looks better with those headlights and tail lights, but the classic line with the star on the hood, the pre-facelift looked more classier

Love the steering wheel, but for the rest it looks dumbed down, particularly the front.

The new classic grille looks extremely weak too.

You may not agree with me, but for me Mercedes probably does not know which direction to go. E class design is boring for me. Only the rear of the car is quite nice. I'm afraid that unfortunately the upcoming S class will disappoint me and not only me. I remember the time when I was waiting for the premiere of W222. This car made a huge impression on everyone. Unfortunately, but the BMW 5 series or Audi A6 is much more attractive than the E class. It's my opinion.

Like the GLC facelift it just changes a car that had nothing really wrong with it to begin with. It just freshens it and brings it into line with newer models.

The rear is a definite improvement for me and is one aspect of the E that I found a little weak.

MBUX is a big plus and the new steering wheel is gorgeous. There was nothing really to improve on the interior other than some finishes and build, which I very much doubt they have done unfortunately.

I like the vor-mopf Version much more.
Specially because the one-piece rear lights in “stardust” design. The frontlights are to fat. I do like the new radiator (classic) hexagonal grill and the AMG steeringwheel

I'm really not a fan of the facelift, Perhaps this will change in the future, I doubt it, though. I'm kind of worried about the future of Mercedes-Benz's design language. The new headlights on their cars just don't look good to me. Also, I despise the fake vents being put behind the new double screens.

I can’t describe how disappointed I am with all this new models and facelifts... For me the only good thing here is the steering wheel.

Autocar.uk is so nice that they apparently leaked the E53 coupe. The color of the coupe looks like a grey color to me.
