E-Class (W213/C238/A238) [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213 Facelift

The Mercedes-Benz W213 is the fifth generation of the E-Class range. It succeeded the W212 E-Class models. The coupe/convertible models (C238/A238) share the same platform as the sedan/wagon, in contrast to the previous generation. Production: February 2016–2023. Model years: 2017–2023.
Any one know how much more it can drive itself than the current E class? It doesn't appear able to do much more. Other than emergency lane corridor thing, and a capacitative wheel, the only exciting innovation is Urban guard and parking when other cars aren't about....
Really disappointed with the design, as almost every other post says, totally agree, lost their way, I'd rather buy the model I have again. How can they mess up so many things. At least they can blame Corona virus and Brexit for poor sales. I think they have gone too far in trying to appeal to young people, fine with the A class and the super sporty AMGs, but you look at their social media feeds, the only people excited are people that will never buy one or people that are still at school plus a couple of youtubers/instagram influencers they continue to associate themselves with. Big thumbs down. Not sure what car I will get next now.

I can't say that I'm seeing any real aesthetic improvement over the pre-facelift. If anything it's an E Class-went-awol.

LaArtist can thank his lucky stars that he's a Porker fan these days because he'd have his tighty whiteys round his ankles right now closely followed by klier.

I think the big 3 have hit a wall design wise, these latest interpretations are either softer or unnecessarily busy. What do you think is causing it?

I feel the exact same way. I've been loving the SUV designs for the most part, but the Big 3 sedans aren't getting the design attention they need. Each automaker seems to have uneven lineups.

The steering wheels reminds me of Cadillac and it’s CUE system (if it still exist) I hate to complain o man here but this FLW213 is a fluke.

prayers that @Serpens word holds true with regard to the W223. Because the W213 is a major slap in the face

Personally, I am pleased with how it looks. I guess the right word to use is that its "fine", but nothing to get overly excited about. I think an AMG is a must, and we'll probably like how the E63 looks.

The standard models are underwhelming. PFL overall looks "better", but only just

So having looked at pics and thread most of the day and a owner or the pre face-lift my own opinion..

I definately like that MBUX has finally been added also looks like the MBUX has updated screens graphics...

I like the rear a lot and I personally think its better then my or the current car I actually find the rear very elegant and I like the new rear quite a bit..

The front is nice I can't say if I like this or the pre face-lift more... I guess I'll wait to see the feint in real..

Love the new AMG steering and also like the standard one they look very good..

Anyone know if the MBUX got any updates and if so what are they..

Hey @fortuner I own the SUV named after you.

Ha ha the Toyota I bought one and kept it for 2 months that was the time I joined this site and that's why I chose fortuner I think it was 2010 or so...I didnt like it at all to be honest sold it and bought a used ML.

I don't know what to think about this new design language tbh. I still think the rear of the W212 FL was way better than. It had presence compared to the competition. This new one looks very soft.

Those tail lights remind me f of the new Lexus ES or some reason:

Mercedes fooled everyone. All panic about the rear lights was misplaced, it was the front that you needed to worried about lol.

The traditional/luxury model looks like a Chinese Mercedes caricature in some pics.
