BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, GM, Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infiniti, Honda/Acura, Hyundai/KIA/Genesis...they've all done this when they are sponsoring an event.

This topic "taxis" was touched on recently, to make dejavu different, history does not lie, there is a particular pride in my country for its Mercedes taxis, mainly due to its quality and reliability.

The first ones I remember using were the 190D (they had been in service for 20 years) then the later generations W123 etc, up to the current ones, 80% have always been Mercedes and they help to believe in my head that they are bulletproof and to be honest that of being "the taxis" never diluted the brand for me, quite the opposite

Since the advent of diesel to BMW today in Punta del Este most are of this brand, beyond preferences it is a business and Mercedes + diesel was and is the perfect formula

As Will Smith would say, old clunker, new beauty.... ?
