Pre facelift G20 is really atractive looking, IMO best looking car in its segment. It still looks fresh both inside and out.

Now they ruined it. Every single change made it worse than before...headlights, bumpers, tablet in interiour...

The front looks better than the pre-LCI. Drat. The back doesn't - that rear bumper's faux diffuser look is crap.

This looks both classy and upmarket:

I was about to say the same. Adding plastic to the rear bumper to simulate a diffuser is not up to nowaday’s standards.

As a G20 owner, all changes are welcomed warmly.

A much needed update after the new BMW releases

I'm also a G20 owner - there are two things I don't welcome: the rear bumper and (of more concern to me) the floating screen instrument panel and infotainment displays.
I'm a traditionalist - I need a cowled IP and proper buttons. I understand this new way is the future but I don't have to think that it's better.

Fiat Tipo want’s its grille back… what a cheap looking mess on the kidney’s. I was hoping they will skip that thing with the LCI, same on the 4er, it looks so Dacia/Fiat. Here we go again.

Why messing up when they can do classical vertical bars without going cheap.
Their bumpers is a really try hard work…
Overall it’s still a handsome old 3er in that conf, even if designwise it could be from the past decade.

I like the changes to the Front bumper and headlight they look alot smoother and smarter than the Pre FL. I like the vertical bar grill alot more than the M340i style speckled grill which doesn't suit the car. That large plastic black panel on the rear bumper looks terrible and cheap, probably one of the worst fake diffusers seen on any car.

Front is a winner, rear not so much …interior will be a winner and obviously solidly built as every other BMW. Segment on lock as always.

I think it went in the wrong direction, like the make-up operation of the e46.

While it's not an improvement to the now pre-LCI and probably because I am inured from BMW's more recent "adventurism" in design, I can live with these changes.

It's great how you can be so far from the antipodes of thought, since the E46 LCI is for me and I think everyone except you, one of the most successful restylings of the brand.

In fairness, I still think it's one of the worst LCI's the brand has performed, and certainly an instance where pre-LCI looks better against the post-LCI...

.. but that's just, like my opinion, man.
