I think all cars are delayed some due to chips and now I guess they have the Ukraine war excuse

Maybe, but last week car was announced build, waiting for transfer.
Now it is a battery software error.
Don't think this is due to chip shortage.

The W206 makes the W205 look very compact. It has a wider lower and longer front. I must say the interior of this particular W206 in this video looked very bland in all black compared to the W205 which at least had some nice brown wood.

My fart sounds better than this car lol

Yeah and I hate Mercedes for it. This car in "53" form with the 429hp I6 would have been near perfect.

That would have been fantastic indeed. It bothers me even more, because the GLC II gets I6 diesel and petrol engines. Wasn’t MB saying the motor bay of the C was too small for a straight six cylinder? Well, MB, there goes your prove.

Yeah it's one of that ass-backwards, BS statements. The truth of the matter is that they didn't design the C_Class with the I6 in mind. It won't fit because of designed in technical limitations. Now to give the GLC an I6 diesel but no petrol I6 is like pouring lye or acid into an open wound. It's an unbelievably and now inexplicably stupid decision IMO.

With the V8 C63 Mercedes AMG had a USP and arguably the best engine in the class for sure aural pleasure and character. With the new 4cylinder C63 model the M3 will now become the automatic choice cause of its superior sounding inline 6.

I hear them laughing in Munich?

An AMG C class with a 4 cylinder, even having the audacity calling it C63(!) is like a F35 with a propeller engine: quite absurd.

IMO the only way this car works is if they engineered a lot of weight out of the car. What you're saving in weight by going from a V8 to an I4 you will make up in all the hybrid equipment. Now if they came out with a truly lightweight car with 550-640hp or whatever the hp number is, they will have a firecracker on their hands. You'll never get the aural satisfaction of a V8 or I6, but you could at least deliver searing performance to make up for it, not just decent performance to just merely keep up with the M3.
