Looks like the first official spyshots for the ICE 3er are out.

Proportionally.. man. I can already tell the NK styling will work way better on this due to the long hood, than the i3.

I'm actually very excited for how this will turn out, I'm liking what I see.

These proportions are incredible.

I am actually looking forward to this a lot, first new BMW I've been excited for in a loooong time.

And it doesn't have the awkward rear-heavy bloated look like the 5er despite similar window shape. The roof is flatter rather than sloping upwards, and has a nice C Pillar shape.

Can't say I'm thrilled by that upswept beltline - such an unnecessary styling choice on BMW's sedans and coupés.
Anyway, I guess I'm looking at my next daily (G50 that is).

Hoping, in futility, that BMW will regain some sanity and reintroduce physical switches for the few most often used controls such as HVAC.
Or, dramatically improve usability via the UI.

While I agree, the roofline being flat as opposed to a rising roofline like the G60 gives it a more balanced side view. That's what differentiates it from the atrocious 5er.

Yea I wish we did. Though, with that beaver teeth grill, I wouldn't call it a looker.

ps. I will admit, I made my peace with that grill and don't find it as emetic as I used to - most of the time.
