The Mercedes-Benz EQA is a battery electric subcompact luxury crossover SUV (C-segment) produced by Mercedes-Benz since February 2021. Part of the EQ family, the vehicle uses the MFA2 platform, which designates C-segment and smaller-sized D-segment vehicles which use a base front-wheel drive layout.

I like the design looks very good ...let's hope it drives well and the range is good if its 450km I think its a good range for a compact baby suv..whats eqc range ?

The exterior of the car is beautiful, much less successful than the interior, of course it is identical to the b-class, they could do it the same as the new Hypescreen EQS, it would have been fantastic

It's a modded GLA, and what on earth makes it better than an iX3? This thing looks pretty horrid overall.
On the exterior the iX3 has those cheap blue plastic highlights, which are simply ugly. The interior looks seriously dated, on the other hand the EQA interior is up to date, even better than the GLA, those small touches like the bronze air vents and bronze wheels make a big difference in design, this car is actually stylish, and this is what it should be for a city crossover at this price range. I’m not a fan of some details, I overall preferred the previous gen GLA shape, but it’s really good for the role of the entry class electric model from Mercedes. Similar to the i3, which I think is still one of the best designed BMWs to date, and still very relevant, but can’t say anything positive about the iX3 though...

I just see no reason to buy it over the ID.4 which is a proper BEV designed with this only purpose.

The design, well I won’t even talk about it. The only thing that makes me very worried, is that the EQS seem to have the same front...

This is the EQC concept done with the GLA or am I missing something? Disappointing and MB played it safe as always. Still better than iX3 though.

I like how it's "Mercedes played it safe as always" then you open the EQS thread and people are like "WHAT IS THAT?!"

But yes this is just a EQ-ized GLA. For the smaller cars, EVs on dedicated platforms aren't coming until 2025. I get that they're just fleshing out their lineup with some initial offerings but these cars with their off the shelf components are just uninspiring. I don't find this ugly like the others though.

Nah, it's a cute blob of a car, but nothing special or in any way exciting.

Agreed.

Both BMW and MB have thrown away the opportunity to re-invent themselves with their "i" and "EQ" brands. It's a sad day when designs from Kia/Hyundai are far more progressive than what the Germans are putting out.

I think you're going to feel otherwise with their upcoming vehicles. BMW is about to head off into two tier headlight land and already started with the enlarged grills. The EQS and its future variants are also far out from the norm. These are the transition vehicles.
