Well, better nobody than the retard who thinks it makes sense to trade a dime for a nickel!

But again, you are avoiding the answer - when do these billions in hydrogen "research" bear fruit? Can you give me a year when annual sales of hydrogen powered passenger cars will break a measly 100,000?

Back with the insults again, which proves to me that you can’t accept my point is valid so you resort to being a child and a typical
American bully. i guess all those people around the world working on hydrogen research are also regards according to Sunny the nobody on German Car Forum.

China expects 1m hydrogen sales per year by 2030, Japan 800,000 and Korea over 500,000, plus the rest of the world. Toyota in the press release for the Mirai expect to build 30,000 in 2021. There are already hundreds of thousands of hydrogen powered forklifts in operation.

ICE vehicles still have a long life ahead of them, over 100m were sold last with compared to less than 2m BEV’s. Most developing countries aren’t even close to having infrastructure to support alternative powered vehicles.

24 models for sale in the UK covering all shapes and sizes. The consumer is still choosing ICE powered cars over EVs... Why is that?

IMO it’s because ICE cars are still significantly cheaper, people don’t have secure places to charge there BEV and range issues. Prices need to take a massive tumble before most new car buyers can make the change.

The invested billions are pure lie. How can the invested money for a suspension be devided between an EV or ICEV? Most of these amounts go for normal R&D but they book them on the EV account only to shut the mouths of the ecologically concerned people

Huh, scandalous.

Can you post up the evidence?

Ha, forklifts... I have low expectations when it comes to expecting intelligent arguments from you. But you yet manage to thoroughly shatter it every time.

Okay, that seems a close enough time frame. I will bet you a price of a good bottle of Japanese whiskey that Toyota will not sell 30,000 Mirai in 2021 at the end of Dec 31st 2021. Heck, just to leave enough margin for you, I will bet they will not sell even 25,000. If they do, I will gladly admit I was a f#cking idiot and was wrong and send you a bottle of Hibiki with an apology letter professing my ignorance. Of course, if they don't, you do the same.

If you want to do it without the money part and just the apology and confession of being ignorant, I am fine with that too. But if you are so sure of FC powered passenger cars (not f#cking forklifts), put money where your mouth is and take the other end of the bet. Or STFU.

Ok you're on, someone make this post a sticky.

Just take a look how much money invested Tesla in order to see what is necessary. The shift...

The current global socioeconomic concept is on the threshold of a monumental upheaval due to the ever increasing pace of digitalization. The next decade wil usher a complete recalibration of how we perceive "employment". This will not only encompass the automotive industry, but the financial sector, retail as well as other services. The challenges are immense and the paradigm change will perhaps be far greater than that of the Industrial Revolutions of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Pretty much what I expected, both cars better at what the their companies excel at - Model S a better electrical car, more efficient drivetrain, more range, better packaging, better software. Taycan, clearly a better performance car with better chassis, better handling, insane acceleration (even at high speeds). Personally, I value latter, so Taycan would be my pick (except for the ludicrous price).

What I love, is how much the two leave the giant ICE dinosaurs behind in their own ways.

More importantly will you get past Japan this weekend or will you choke?

Oh dear...

Thanks. I'm not gloating to be honest.
This was specifically for arrogant Kiwirob's benefit.

I switched off after last weekends loss, I couldn’t give a flying f who won.

Everyone knows the All Blacks are the best in the world, it it doesn’t matter who holds the cup we will beat them next year and they know it.
