I still get the patchwork vibe but i must say it looks good, they are getting better and better at crafting details. Makes me think of a car that Penguin would drive. Now i would like to see it in natural light.

Still need better pics where it's not photographed in darken room, but, damn, that's a handsome car. Though I am over them extending the lights past the front wheel; I think that design element will age badly. That, and, of course, my greatest design pet peeve: those reverse lights. Other than that, the interior's great and the exterior is handsome.

Good looking car with handsome cab-backward, fastback proportions together with some fussy design features. Interior is very, very impressive: pretty much the level I was expecting to see in the new Escalade given the hype posted here. Switchgear appears to be beautifully cohesive and consistent. Just one major criticism goes to the instrument display where the circular rev-counter needlessly runs counter-clockwise.

Pleasant, proportionately sound exterior architecture. Nothing dramatic per se, but rather a "safe route", familiar approach that subscribes to the implementation of commonplace design elements. The interior looks very good. Assembly and fit quality should be without reproach.

If Hyundai normally has been copying Audi from the previous Sonata (in general concept and sometimes without any shame), I think that with this Genesis, they have reached a new level of blatant theft

Quite a striking car, but has some Audi and Volvo vibes in the front and rear and interior looks pretty impressive but again Audi A8 style wheel. Certainly a breath of fresh air in this class

Oh no they ruined it!. The only second alternative to the German three, they ruined it. Infiniti, Cadillac and Lexus make no more. Jaguar is last one left.

It has better proportions than the A7. I'm a huge fan of this design. Another hit for Genesis.

Is there already a hit (maybe the SUV)?
Hit in design? because in sales there is still no hit of genesis, the SUV is not yet for sale and the small sedan is anecdotal in sales.

these low cost car brands are hotter than the premium ones these days.
Less than $ 5,000 of diference in the USA of a newly arrived Korean VS. a Mercedes, with the same specs, do you think is low cost?

Yes...I thought it was obvious I was talking about design because, as you said, neither the GV80 nor the G80 are for sale yet.
